More observations of Christians opposing single-payer and other healthcare reforms
Here is another discussion I would really like feedback with.
Among the Christians there is another item coming up why we just can't have universal healthcare. "If we do we will have free abortions. Abortions and Euthanasia will skyrocket. No, I really believe the very opposite is true. Our current fragmented and broken system is training people to disregard life; this will cause abortions to skyrocket. Furthermore, I fear it will make illegal abortions skyrocket; the kind that put the woman's life in danger. I fear they will do it because they fear they can't afford the medical costs associated with pregnancy (regular or with complications) or the medical needs of the child.
The idea of making healthcare less affordable to keep abortions less affordable is ludicrous.
My purpose in this discussion is not to kick those who are pro-choice (abortion is okay). I am against abortion; but you follow your own conscience on what you think to be right. My idea is to denounce the idea that if healthcare becomes universally affordable abortion will become too easy to obtain. The problem at the root is that we program those luck enough to be able to take health insurance for granted; they in turn will look through their noses at those who have a struggle to obtain insurance; this bullcrap is training people to disregard life. People get to say "I have health insurance; so what about the 1 in 6 who don't, as long as I don't have to be one of them."
Making Healthcare affordable for every American is not just a political issue; it is a moral issue. What I have just mentioned says a lot about the moral decline of the nation.
I've attached lyrics of an song I wrote, Mr. Elephant. It seems to talk against abortion; but the purpose is not to kick the pro-choice (abortion is okay); but to kick butt with the pro-life (abortion is wrong) like "Hey brother, I agree with your stand; but when someone dies because they can't afford health insurance this too is abortion."
